We are really proud to launch our new Chapel Downs Home Learning Google Site.
The website has a specific tab for reading.
* For junior school children: to identify which level your child is reading at - have a look at the back of their last reading book. It is likely to show a colour wheel and this will indicate which colour level your child is reading at. That colour is a good place to start. They should also be able to independently read the texts at the colours that come before the one they are up to.
* Senior school children: Colour wheel (see above), Level 2 (reading age 7-9 years), Level 3 (reading age 9-11 years), Level 4 (reading age 12+ years)
